The Decline of participation in Motocross racing at the grassroots level is a subject that's talked about frequently.
I believe that there are things that could be done (Right now) that would help the sport of motocross grow nationwide, some of the things I am shocked aren't already being done!
I have a strategic plan that will bring publicity to the sport in a good way, and showcase the sport of motocross in a relate-able way that makes people think that looks fun I want to try that, as opposed to that looks extreme,
This is something that is not currently being done. When is the last time you saw a nationwide promotion encouraging kids to ride dirt bikes?
We will plan live events all throughout the USA that will let the public test ride small easy to ride dirt bikes on small tracks, riding a dirt bike is fun and addictive! .... it sells itself. Letting people try it is half of the battle.
(The events are just one step in a plan that I believe could be a game changer)
Since Mini MX/ Pit bike riding is organically on the rise I believe This is our chance to take the ball and run with it!
The sport of motocross hasn't changed with the times, I have some fresh ideas that I believe will help get the sport growing again.
I have the formula, I need help implementing it. If you want to see motocross grow at the grassroots level this is how it will happen.
I wrote this pre pandemic
I am aware that we have seen an increase in sales during the corona pandemic (which is great) but the issues that caused the sport to decline are still the same.
The things I am working on will still help bring more new people into the sport, help to retain new riders and help grow the sport.
My plan is a combination of things, from ways to introduce new people to the sport through new marketing ideas💡to ways to let people test ride.
From creating a new bunny hill and stepping stone type classes.
To new ways to get the industry to work collectively and more!
I have been working on a plan for 5 years.
There is a lot more to to this plan, however I didn't actually make this website/blog itself as a way to solve the problems or to share the solutions I made it to try to meet people in the industry. I am planning to travel in the near future to southern California to try to meet people in the Motocross/motorcycle industry.
