I'm here at Atlanta 2 and what a beautiful place and track, I really like the Nascar track races in my opinion this is a success.
The facility is beautiful and the track is amazing!
I personally really hope to see more along these lines in the future.
I also like the idea of having two or three races at one venue so I hope to see more of that in the future also even after we put this "Covid crap" behind us!
My name is Tarz Thomas, I am working on a project that's about ways to help the sport of Motocross grow at the grassroots level.
I plan to start a movement!
It's a lofty goal but I am willing to start small
Right now I'm trying to go from Ideas to actually putting some things on motion.
I Plan for there to be an online social media aspect and to have some get out & ride events that will let the public test ride small easy to ride bikes at a pit party type event.
I think most people In the moto industry as well as the motorcycle community know something needs to be done at the grassroots level to help grow the sport we love back to the participation levels of the 1970's 80's and 90's (Many may not think that's possible)
Personally I do think it's possible.
We want to return to our roots. We want more options, we want some natural terrain tracks, we want the sport we love to be cool again, we want more participants, we want more places to ride, we want more organized events and more local races and possibly more local points series nationwide.
I've done lot of research and I believe I have some good ideas but I am also open to hearing more ideas as well.
I am trying to meet people in the industry to discuss my plans and I'm looking for people to collaborate with.
