I am working on an entrepreneurial project about finding and creating ways
to help the sport of Motocross grow.
I believe there are things that could be done that would help the sport grow
specifically at the grassroots level that are not being done.
I'm Mapping out a plan and I'm looking for people to help put the plan in motion.
I believe We can rise again as a sport to levels not seen in decades.
Everybody in the motocross Industry says they want to
help the sport grow.
But is anyone actually working on it?
People Say history repeats itself and I have ideas that will make this true in motocross.
I believe there are things that we could do that would start a full on resurgence, like a remix of 1970's !
We can't ride to the local field down the street anymore and make a track in most areas however we can strategically overcome that and other issues that have caused the sport to get stagnant by using modern tools and leverage from the internet to work together and grow the sport!
I have a strategic plan that will put an organized focus on growing the sport of Motocross.
This plan will get new people interested in dirt bikes, help bring new people to the current tracks and help to create new tracks in or near cities and towns all across America.
I know this isn't something I can do alone,
I Am looking to make Connections with people that are passionate about dirt bikes and people in the motocross industry.
"Big picture before details" Steve Jobs
The Decline of participation in Motocross racing at the grassroots level is a subject that's talked about frequently but nobody seems to be working on fixing it. I believe that there are things that could be done that would help the sport of motocross grow nationwide, some of the things I am shocked aren't already being done!
I have a strategic plan that will bring good publicity and showcase the sport of motocross in a relate-able way that makes people think that looks fun I want to try that! as opposed to that looks extreme
(This is something that is not currently being done.)
When is the last time you saw a nationwide promotion encouraging kids to ride dirt bikes?
The plan also includes in detail how we will begin the process of creating new natural terrain tracks and riding areas all throughout the USA with the help of dirt bike enthusiasts, plus bring new enthusiasts to the current tracks.
I also want to do have live events all throughout the USA that will let the public test ride small easy to ride dirt bikes on small tracks, riding a dirt bike is fun! it sells itself just letting people try it is half of the battle.
Since Mini MX is organically on the rise I believe This is our chance to take the ball and run with it!
The sport of motocross hasn't changed with the times, I have some fresh ideas that will help get the sport growing again.
I have the formula, I need help implementing it. If you want to see motocross grow at the grassroots level this is how it will happen.
I wrote this pre pandemic
and I am aware that we have seen an increase in sales which is great
The things I am working on will still help bring new people into the sport and to tracks and I can prove it!
"when you grow up you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and that your supposed live your life inside the world, try not to bash into the walls to much, try to have a nice family, have fun, save a little money. that's a very limited life.
Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact, and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you.
And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.
Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again"
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
I love the sport of motocross
I got a lot out of it as a kid and i want to bring that experience to
kids that may have otherwise never tried it.
and I have plans that will make that possible with some help from the industry.
Together we can grow the sport.
I have been a diehard motocross enthusiast for 30 years, I have worked in Sales & Marketing in other industries for many years and as most of you know the sport of motocross has been declining in participation for a long time, I believe there are things that could be done and I want to help advocate for the sport.
I did a long term deep dive study on the history of the sport of motocross documenting everything that changed over the years and what the effects had on participation levels
I believe that by studying what changes had the biggest impact on participation that we can get ideas to help the sport grow in the future.
I believe that I found what I was searching for,
and that I have the best possible solutions available at this time to get the sport growing again.
I am currently trying to set up meetings within the motorcycle industry to fine tune a strategic plan that will help with growth in participation nationwide,
